Reuters made this revelation that Americans are becoming Millionaires faster than the rest of the world. The report said that wealth grew disproportionately in the United States last year where over 379,000 people became new U.S Dollar Millionaires which is like 1,000 individuals per day.

The survey carried out stated that Private net worth globally is at 4.6% while it is at 11% in America. This growth was attributed to stable U.S dollar and upbeat financial markets. This was stated by the 2025 Global Wealth Report by UBS (UBSG.S), the United States accounted for almost 40% of global millionaires in 2024.

Greater China as defined by the report which covers Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, has the highest of individuals with net worth of $100,000 to $1,000,000 accounting for 28.2%, after Greater China comes, Europe with 25.4% then North America with 20.9%.

Majority of people worldwide majority in Africa is below that threshold with over 80% of adults in the UBS sample is having a net worth of under $100,000.
