Saharareporters confirmed that sources within the security forces reveal that bandits launched a surprise assault at the military camp in Niger State leaving scores dead. 

This occurs in the early hours of Tuesday in the North-Central region of the Country. The armed bandits ambush the military camp near Bangi in Mariga Local Government Area. 

The incident occurred around dawn on June 24 after the heavily armed Bandits overrun the military during heavy gun battle.
