An alarm was raised when a gas plant located close to a residential buildings caught fire. Neighbours close to the location of the incident raise alarm, someone is heard saying that the fire service have been contacted but they are complaining of only one vehicle has fuel, as alleged.

The reported voice was heard as below,

"A gas plant located near Mami, towards Abakpa Bridge in Enugu, is currently engulfed in flames. Eyewitnesses report that the massive blaze with thick smoke is visible from a distance.

Residents in the area are urged to stay away for safety, as the risk of explosions remains high. Emergency services have been alerted and are reportedly on the scene.
