US President Donald Trump says his relationship with billionaire Elon Musk is over. The US president also warned Musk of serious consequences if he funds Democrats running against Republicans who vote for the president's sweeping tax and spending bill. 

NBC News reports, Trump issued the warning during a phone call interview, but he declined to say what those consequences would be. 

President Trump also said that he had not had discussions about whether to investigate Musk and the thought of his relationship with Tesla and SpaceX CEO was over, Trump said, I would assume so. Yeah. 

When he asked if he had any desire to repair his relationship with musk, Trump said no, adding that he has no intention of talking to musk. 

However, Trump said he had not thought about terminating US government contracts with Musk Starlink satellite internet or SpaceX rocket launch companies. 

The US president had earlier said that he would consider terminating government contracts with Musk's businesses, speaking to reporters on board Air Force One Trump said he would look at everything and terminate contracts if it is fair for musk and for the country.

On X, Musk announced the results of a poll where he had asked if it was time to create the new political party in America that represented 80% of the people who were in the middle of the Republican and the Democratic divide, 80% of the people in musk poll agreed to the creation of a new party. 

So it is possible this feud between Elon Musk and Donald Trump might result in the creation of a new political party that is in-between the Democrats and Republicans divide.
