The family of Hon. Aondona Dajoh, former Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of his elder brother, Elder Gwamile Dajoh.

According to reports, Elder Gwamile slumped and died on Sunday, just hours after his younger brother stepped down as Speaker of the Assembly.

Although full details are still sketchy, sources say the late Elder Dajoh had been worried about the political tension rocking the House before his tragic passing.

His death comes shortly after Hon. Aondona Dajoh’s resignation, which cleared the way for Hon. Alfred Berger to emerge as the new Speaker during an emergency session.
