Hollywood star John Travolta is feeling emotional as his youngest son, Ben, marks another milestone.
The actor celebrated Ben’s 15th birthday with a warm message and a beautiful winter photo that left many fans smiling.
John Travolta, 71, shared the tribute on Instagram on November 23. In the picture, Ben who bears a striking resemblance to his famous dad stands confidently on a tall rock with snowy mountains stretching behind him.
The snapshot was taken during the family’s recent trip to Norway, where the actor had earlier posted more glimpses of their adventure.
“Happy Birthday my dear Ben! I can’t believe how quickly you’ve grown up! I love you!” Travolta wrote, expressing disbelief at how fast his son is maturing.
Ben is Travolta’s youngest child with his late wife, Kelly Preston. The couple also share their daughter Ella Bleu, now 25, and their late son Jett, who tragically passed away at 16 in 2009.
Earlier this month, Travolta posted another clip from Norway a heart-warming video of Ben hiking through a snow-covered mountain trail.
Set to Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s classic, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” the teenager is seen climbing in a white winter coat before taking in the breathtaking view from the top.
“Ain’t no mountain high enough for my son Ben. Love from Norway,” the proud father captioned.
Ella also dropped a sweet comment under the post, showing support for her little brother.
Travolta has made it a tradition to celebrate Ben publicly. On his 14th birthday last year, he shared a photo of Ben with their dog Peanut, writing, “Happy birthday my Ben. Your dad loves you! And so does Peanut!”
