Tommy Lee Jones is facing a personal tragedy following the death of his daughter, Victoria, who was found dead at a hotel in California on New Year’s Day.
Law enforcement sources confirmed that Tommy Lee’s daughter was discovered inside the Fairmont San Francisco in the early hours of Thursday.
According to a spokesperson for the San Francisco Fire Department, emergency responders were called to the hotel at about 2:52 a.m.
Following a report of a medical emergency, paramedics assessed the situation and pronounced the adult female dead at the scene.
The matter was subsequently handed over to the San Francisco Police Department and the Medical Examiner’s Office for further investigation.
Police officials said officers responded to the hotel at approximately 3:14 a.m., where they met paramedics who had already declared the woman deceased. The Medical Examiner conducted an on-site investigation.
Authorities have not released further details, and the cause of death remains unknown as of the time of this report.
Efforts to reach a representative for Tommy Lee Jones were unsuccessful, and no official statement has been issued by the family.
Victoria was born to the Oscar-winning actor and his first wife, Kimberlea Cloughley.
She briefly followed in her father’s footsteps, making her acting debut in “Men in Black II” (2002) before her teenage years. She later appeared in “One Tree Hill” (2003) and “The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada” (2005), a film directed by her father that also involved her stepmother, Dawn Laurel-Jones. Victoria was 34 years old.
