New details have emerged regarding the arrest of Kim Scott, the ex-wife of rap legend Eminem, following a chaotic driving incident in Michigan.
Shocking bodycam footage has now been released, showing her tense and unusual interaction with law enforcement officers.
The trouble reportedly began when Kim allegedly slammed her white Range Rover into a neighbor’s vehicle before speeding away from the scene. She didn't stop there; she eventually drove the SUV straight into her own garage door.
When police arrived at her home, the situation took a strange turn. In the newly released video, Kim initially told officers she hadn't been drinking.
However, after the police pointed out the fresh damage to her garage, she changed her story, admitting she had a drink about two hours earlier.
The footage shows a visibly disoriented Kim struggling through a breathalyzer test. After she failed the test, officers immediately placed her in handcuffs. During a search of her vehicle, police discovered bottles of soda that had been spiked with alcohol.
Despite the intensity of the arrest, Kim remained calm and did not resist the officers. Her only request was for the police to notify her family about what was happening, a request the officers granted.
Kim Scott is now facing serious legal trouble, including charges for a hit-and-run and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. This latest incident has once again put the spotlight on her troubled history with the law.
