A quiet neighborhood in Erial, New Jersey, is in shock following a tragic incident that claimed the life of a beloved high school teacher. Monica Morris, 51, was found dead inside her burning home on Freedom Way in the early hours of Tuesday, April 28.
Authorities report that the suspect is her husband, 50-year-old Jerome Morris. According to the Gloucester Township Police Department, officers arrived at the scene to find the townhouse engulfed in flames. Upon forcing their way inside, they discovered the husband standing near his wife’s body, armed with a knife.
