Zahara, the adopted daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has officially become a college graduate. However, it is the name she used on stage that has captured public attention.

While receiving her diploma at Spelman College in Atlanta, she was announced as Zahara Marley Jolie. The 21-year-old completely left out "Pitt" from her name.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. But dropping her father's surname is not a new move for her.

Last year, when she joined the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, she introduced herself as Zahara Marley Jolie. A viral video showed her proudly declaring the name during the induction ceremony.

She is not the only child distancing herself from the Pitt name. Her older brother, Maddox, has reportedly used Jolie on unofficial documents for years. An earlier report even claimed he wanted to make the change legal, though their mother allegedly did not support it.

The trend does not stop there. Younger sister Vivienne recently dropped Pitt from her name in the Playbill for the Broadway show "The Outsiders," where she worked alongside Angelina.

Meanwhile, Shiloh took the most formal step. On her 18th birthday, she hired her own lawyer to legally remove Pitt from her last name.

The former Hollywood couple shares six children in total: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne. Jolie adopted Maddox and Zahara before Pitt legally adopted them as well. They later adopted Pax together.

The "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" co-stars also share three biological children. Since their highly publicized split in 2016, reports indicate all six children have grown distant from their father.
