Montia Sabbag to Testify in Kevin Hart Court Case

The woman linked to Kevin Hart’s 2017 sex tape controversy could be drawn into one of the comedian’s ongoing court battles.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Hart’s former assistant, Miesha Shakes, is seeking to have Montia Sabbag testify as a witness in her case against the comedian.

Shakes said she wants to question Sabbag about the situation and the investigation that followed.

Sabbag was involved in the sex tape controversy that surrounded Hart in 2017. She later sued Hart in 2019 for $60 million, claiming he filmed her having sex without her consent. Hart denied all allegations of wrongdoing. The case was eventually dismissed.

The current dispute stems from a non-disclosure agreement. Hart sued Shakes, alleging she breached the agreement by speaking about his personal life in an interview with a blogger.

Shakes, in her response, claimed Hart breached the deal by not complying with certain obligations. She is arguing that the agreement is void.

Hart claims Shakes damaged his reputation by discussing his private matters. Shakes, on her part, claims he damaged his own reputation over the years and points to the sex tape scandal as one example.

Shakes said she will also take the stand in the case. She also plans to call Hart to testify.

The case is ongoing.
