Mike is a popular folklorist, songwriter and musician from Imezi Owa in Ezeagu L.G of Enugu State.

He died on Friday night at about 8 pm at the Garrison Hospital in Enugu, following an illness.

This was confirmed by his eldest son Emma Ejeagha.

Mike Ejeagha was so popular in the 1980's with his style of song which resonated across generations.

Recently, one of his popular songs "Enyi" resurfaced in 2024 when it was used by brain jolter in his skit and gwo gwo gwo became the dance step of the present generation.
