On the morning of July 3, 2025, Diogo Jota, 28, and his brother André, 26, were killed in a severe car crash on the A‑52 highway in Zamora province, Spain. 

Their car veered off the road caught fire and both died instantly .

Reports have it that emergency services from Castilla y León responded and confirmed both fatalities at the scene.

A big loss for Liverpool club
