The list is based on my personal love and how I feel about the movie. Know that what captivate me in a movie might be slightly differently from yours but believe me this 10 selections will keep you glued to your screen, believe it I have great eyes for movies and songs.
My top ten list of 2025 movies, from number one is my most favourite.
- Havoc
The IMDb rating for this movie is 5.4, the reason this movie came top in my list, the gun battle in this film is never seen before in any other movie. I am a lover of movies and I have watched great action parked movies. This is so different and this is huge. 2. Straw
Straw is a drama by Tyler Perry with IMDb of 6.6. This movies is highly emotional, at a time 'tears'.
The movie has a great storyline, a single mom with her only sick daughter struggling through life to make it for her daughter. She went through unprecedented huddles, only for her to go through unfamiliar route to get the check she has worked for. It will take an Holy Ghost baptism police officer to understand her plight.

3. G20
Is an action pack movie from the start to the end of the movie is captivating and spear bound. The IMDb is 5.1, acted by viola Williams the face of Lion King, if you watched that too.
G20 is about leaders of the world, I mean United States, great Britain, South Korea, Australia and others caught and trapped by terrorist. You can imagine intriguing situation and the intensity of the movie.
I must say this is one of my best. One of the first movie I watched this year. Is action pack, suspense and most especially the role the US president's daughter played and her right hand body guard. Great movie, must watch!

4. Sinners
Sinners is a great movie a combination of action and Dracula nightmare, the IMDb rating of the movie is 7.7
This is a great film i enjoyed the meanest of the twin key actors, Michael B. Jordan. The two brothers came back home after conquering the outside world not knowing that a different species of fear is at the corner lurking around. This would have been my number 1 because it has all you need in a movie, drama, action, romance and horror all combined to keep you entertained.

5. After 30
This drama is exiting to watch, after 30 is a Nollywood movie with IMDb of 4.2. The movie is about friends that are above 30 and each having there own complications in there relationship and marriage. Simple saying 'Life no complete' is very true about this epic movie with lovely pretty girls at least.
It involves girls betrayal, sleeping around, ex showing up at odd times, you that kind ex that will steal your attention away and all that. Great movie I encourage you to watch.

6. Shadow Force
Shadow force is an action thriller with an IMDb of 4.6. Strike force team that violates the rules by getting married in secret and now the team has one target to bring them down. Couples had no choice but run with their son but how far can they run.

Rosario is an horror movie with an IMDb of 4.3. Rosario is about a pretty lady that returns to her grand mother's apartment after her sudden death, only to discover a hidden chamber filled with occult artifacts which it's part of a generational ritual.
As the negative supernatural begins to face her she has to confront her family buried secrets.

8. Deva
Deva is an interesting Indian action movie with lots of dance moves. The IMDb rating is 6.7, It's about a police officer who love to protect fellow officers against the intruding bandits and rogue cult group. I love the movie but you sabi how Indian movie take they happen.

9. Duplicity
This is a drama and mystery movie by Tyler Perry, nice movie with IMDb of 4.6.
The movie is about a high powered attorney Marley investigating the murder of her best friend husband. with the help of her husband and other colleagues who are former cop turned investigators. Her search for what really happened leads to discovering of huge deception and betrayal
