Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has revealed the touching way he and his wife, Chioma, remembered their late son, Ifeanyi, during their wedding ceremony in Miami on August 10, 2025.

The couple incorporated sentimental keepsakes into their outfits as they exchanged vows. Davido wore cufflinks engraved with Ifeanyi’s portrait, while Chioma carried a bouquet adorned with her son’s image.

In an interview with Vogue Weddings, Davido explained that the gesture was a way to have their “angel” present on such a significant day.

“My cufflinks carried a portrait of our angel, Ifeanyi a way to keep him close to our hearts on the most beautiful night of our lives,” the singer said.

Reflecting on the ceremony, Davido described the moment as peaceful and fulfilling. “I got to marry the love of my life, and I get to wake up next to her forever,” he added.
