American rap legend and business mogul, Sean Carter, well known as "Jay-Z" has been named the world’s richest musician by Forbes, with his fortune estimated at a staggering $2.5 billion.
Jay-Z’s wealth goes far beyond music, thanks to a wide-ranging business empire. He owns stakes in Roc Nation, the globally renowned entertainment powerhouse; luxury champagne brand Armand de Brignac, popularly called “Ace of Spades”; and premium cognac label D’Ussé.
The billionaire also cashed out big from the sale of his streaming platform, Tidal, and his Rocawear fashion line, both of which helped cement his reputation as a visionary entrepreneur.
His investments further cut across real estate, hospitality, tech, and several startups, making him one of the most influential figures in global entertainment and business.
On the other hand, pop superstar Taylor Swift remains the world’s richest female musician with a net worth of $1.6 billion. Unlike Jay-Z, Swift’s fortune comes almost entirely from her music and record-breaking tours, a rare feat in an industry where many top earners rely heavily on endorsements and side ventures.
