Afrobeats singer Spyro, best known for his hit song Who’s Your Guy?, just took a major step in his love life — he’s engaged!

The singer popped the big question to his girlfriend, Janet Atom, in a dreamy, picture-perfect proposal that could have come straight out of a Nollywood rom-com.

Spyro went all out to create the perfect setting a room filled with red roses, glowing candles, heart-shaped balloons, and a bright neon sign asking the question every bride-to-be dreams of seeing: “Will You Marry Me?”

Janet’s answer? A big, beautiful YES.

Photos shared on social media captured the emotional moment. In one shot, Janet holds a bouquet of roses, proudly showing off her sparkling engagement ring as Spyro embraces her. The joy on both their faces says it all this is a love story they’re ready to take to the next level.

Spyro also gave fans a glimpse into their love journey in his caption, revealing that he met Janet in the most unexpected way.

“On the 30th of March 2024, my world paused as I found love in an unexpected place at exactly 2:48am, I met the answer to my prayers, Janet Atom, in a Lagos club while at work. From that day till now, I have lived every single day a very happy man,” he wrote.

He rounded off the emotional post with a heartfelt message to his fiancée:

“Thank you for saying YES my sweet J. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”

The proposal has since sent fans and fellow celebrities flooding Spyro’s comment section with congratulatory messages, with many describing the moment as “straight out of a movie.”

With wedding bells now on the horizon, it looks like Spyro has finally found his “guy” or rather, his forever girl.
