Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) moves against X user who accused him of rape as police confirm her capture.
Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has followed through on his promise to take legal action against a female X user who accused him of rape and abuse of a minor.
The drama began on September 23 after photos of his wife, Ifeoma, surfaced online as she marked her 25th birthday. Under one of the posts, a user claimed Paul cheated on his ex-wife, Anita, with their maid.
That allegation opened the door for another X user, identified as @chubbiediva, to amplify the story. She went further, accusing the singer of raping or coercing the family’s maid, and alleged that he kicked his wife and sister-in-law out of the house after being confronted.
The claims quickly sparked reactions, with many Nigerians urging the singer to defend his name. Rudeboy replied at the time, vowing to use every legal means to ensure the accuser faced consequences.
He has now made good on that promise.
According to an update shared by X user @salako, who had previously called for the singer to press charges, the accused lady fled the country soon after posting the allegations. However, she was later tracked and arrested on November 6.
She is expected to be charged to court in the coming days as the case moves into its legal phase.
