Diddy Confident Trump Will Grant Him Presidential Pardon
Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs reportedly believes his time behind bars may soon come to an end. The rapper and producer, who is currently serving time at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Fort Dix, New Jersey, is said to be telling fellow inmates that he expects a presidential pardon from Donald Trump early next year.
According to multiple sources within the prison, Diddy has been openly talking about Trump’s alleged plan to pardon him in early 2026. He’s even promising to “take care” of some inmates once he regains his freedom.
Diddy began serving a 50-month prison sentence last week after being convicted of violating the Mann Act. Having already completed over 13 months, he could potentially be released in about two years with credit for good behavior—but that could change entirely if Trump decides to intervene.
Reports indicate that Diddy’s legal team reached out to a top White House official shortly after his sentencing in October. The goal, insiders say, was to push for a commutation or full pardon—something that reportedly caught Trump’s attention.
While Trump’s aides were split on the matter, sources close to the former president claim he’s still considering it. “Trump will do what he wants,” one insider was quoted as saying.
Although Diddy and Trump fell out in 2020 after the rapper endorsed Joe Biden, the situation may now be shifting. Despite their political differences, Trump is said to have kept the door open for possible clemency.
Two weeks ago, reports surfaced that the White House was weighing the option of commuting Diddy’s sentence. Though officials later denied the claim, sources insist the discussion actually took place.
Whether or not Trump goes ahead with the pardon, one thing seems clear—Diddy is confident his days in Fort Dix are numbered.
