Former child actor Matt Prokop has been arrested in Texas on multiple charges, including alleged child pornography possession.
Law enforcement authorities in Victoria County said Prokop is currently being held at the county jail without bail after his arrest on Christmas Eve.
Police disclosed that Prokop was arrested for allegedly violating bond conditions tied to earlier charges filed in 2024. Those charges stemmed from a previous arrest in May 2024, when he was accused of assaulting his girlfriend.
At the time, Prokop was charged with aggravated assault involving a family member and resisting arrest, and was later released under specific bond conditions.
Authorities have not publicly detailed how Prokop allegedly violated those conditions.
In the latest arrest, Prokop is facing fresh allegations that include possession of child pornography and resisting arrest, significantly escalating his legal troubles.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that he remains in custody as investigations continue.
Prokop previously made headlines for his relationship with Sarah Hyland, the Modern Family actress, who obtained a restraining order against him after accusing him of verbal and physical abuse.
