Raihan Vadra and Aviva Baig, childhood friends since age three, are set to marry, their families have confirmed.
The development was announced by Raihan’s mother, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, an Indian Congress Member of Parliament, who shared the news publicly with a personal message celebrating the couple’s journey.
In an Instagram post, Priyanka Gandhi shared two photographs of the couple, one from their childhood and another taken recently, highlighting how their relationship has evolved over the years.
“Love you both very much. May you always love and respect each other and remain the best friends you have been since you were 3,” she wrote.
Raihan’s father and businessman, Robert Vadra, also extended his blessings, describing the moment as a significant milestone for his son.
“Raihan and Aviva! My son comes of age and finds his life partner. My heartfelt blessings to them for a life filled with happiness, unwavering togetherness, love and strength,” he wrote in a separate Instagram post.
The couple is expected to hold a private engagement ceremony in Rajasthan in early January. According to family sources, the event will be a low-key, two-to-three-day gathering, designed to keep celebrations intimate and away from public attention.
At 25, Raihan Vadra is a professional photographer with a strong focus on nature and wildlife.
Aviva Baig, based in Delhi, also works in creative fields. She completed her early education in the city before earning a degree in Media Communications and Journalism.
A professional photographer and producer, Aviva is also a former national-level footballer, combining sports and creative storytelling in her career.
As preparations quietly move forward, the story of Raihan Vadra and Aviva Baig has drawn warm reactions for its rare blend of family, friendship, and lifelong connection.
