They say some wounds never heal. For twin brothers Samuel and Solomon Gbadebo, a violent robbery four years ago may now be at the heart of a deadly double homicide case that has gripped North Texas law enforcement and stirred intense public scrutiny.
Fort Worth Police this week announced that the 20-year-old twin brothers have been arrested and charged with two separate murders from November 2025 one of them allegedly motivated by retaliation after a 2021 incident in which the alleged victim reportedly robbed and humiliated them.
November 15, 2025: Surveillance footage captured a white Nissan Altima entering a Fort Worth apartment complex late at night.
Minutes later, 19-year-old Devan Randles was found shot dead in the parking area. Detectives believe Randles and accomplices may have been breaking into cars at the time.
November 30, 2025: In a seemingly unrelated incident, 20-year-old Isaiah Gonzales was fatally shot in the parking lot of Flips Patio Grill after leaving with his girlfriend in the early morning hours. Footage shows two figures running up to the car and firing into it.
Law enforcement later tied both crime scenes to the same vehicle and footwear evidence tracks linked back to the twins’ household. Investigators used those leads to focus on the Gbadebo brothers.
According to a search warrant affidavit, a tipster told police that Gonzales had robbed the twins and forced them to strip naked at gunpoint, while recording the ordeal on camera.
Investigators reportedly found video of two men matching the twins’ appearance on the victim’s phone and confirmed their identities with facial recognition technology.
Authorities have confirmed the brothers had reported the 2021 robbery at the time, but there is no public record that Gonzales was ever arrested or charged in connection with that incident.
