The 37th Enugu International Trade Fair returns March 2026 with a focus on empowering MSMEs for global competitiveness.
The Enugu Chamber of Commerce is set to host the 37th edition of its international trade fair. President Nnanyelugo Onyemelukwe announced that the event will run from March 21 to March 30, 2026.
The venue remains the Enugu International Trade Fair Complex along the Enugu–Onitsha Expressway.
This year’s theme, "Empowering MSMEs for Global Competitiveness," targets small business growth. The goal is to help local enterprises find their footing in the global market. Governor Peter Mbah is expected to declare the fair open on Tuesday, March 24.
New leadership at the Chamber has introduced fresh ideas to revitalize the event. A major addition is a three-day business masterclass. These sessions will cover business growth, the use of Artificial Intelligence, and tax compliance.
To ensure easy access for everyone, the organizers have arranged free daily transport. Buses will be available from key areas like Abakpa, Emene, and Gariki to the fair venue. This move aims to boost public participation throughout the ten-day event.
For the first time, the newly built ECCIMA Premium Convention and Exhibition Hall will be in use.
The 3,000-square-metre facility can host over 140 exhibitors. The Chamber is also pushing for increased investment in agriculture to enhance food security.
Security in the state has been commended, assuring investors of a safe environment. ECCIMA calls on businesses and residents to turn out in large numbers.
This fair offers a vital chance to network and explore Nigeria’s economic potential.
