Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has addressed the nation, mourning his family and vowing revenge for martyrs.

Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei delivering a national broadcast regarding war losses and national unity.

In his first major address to the nation, the new Supreme Leader of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, has made a passionate plea for national unity.

Speaking during a state television broadcast on Thursday, March 12, the leader acknowledged the heavy toll the recent conflict has taken on the country.

He expressed his deep condolences to families who lost loved ones, promising that the government would provide compensation for those who suffered losses or property damage.

The leader emphasized that Iran can only remain strong if its people stand together. According to him, the nation must find common ground to protect its collective future during these trying times.

The address took a deeply personal turn when Khamenei revealed that he was not spared from the tragedy of the war. He shared that he lost his father, the former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei as well as his wife. He also noted that his sister lost both her husband and child in the recent strikes.

Despite the personal grief, he urged the public to remain resilient. He noted that faith and "the grace of God" are the only things that can help the nation endure such a difficult period. He praised the bravery of citizens from all walks of life who stood firm against external threats.

However, the message ended on a stern note. The Supreme Leader vowed that the deaths would not go unpunished. He promised that the state would seek revenge for every "martyr" killed in the conflict.

He made it clear that the quest for justice is not just about his own family but about every single Iranian citizen who lost their life during the war.
