Ben Affleck has reportedly transferred his $60 million mansion stake to Jennifer Lopez for free amid their divorce.
Ben Affleck has finally let go of the luxury home he shared with Jennifer Lopez. Surprisingly, he did not ask for a dime in return.
Court documents have revealed a major update in their property settlement. The papers show a clear "transfer of property among spouses." Insiders close to the matter say Affleck signed over his full share of the $60 million estate completely free of charge.
The former couple bought the massive property in May 2023. They paid entirely in cash and still spent extra millions on upgrades. However, the house has struggled to find a buyer.
It first hit the market at $68 million in July 2024. That was just before Lopez filed for divorce. The price later dropped to $52 million, but the property still remains unsold today.
Right now, Lopez is staying in the mansion. She is also busy fixing up a different home she recently bought. With Affleck out of the picture, she now holds full ownership. This means she will keep all the profits whenever the property finally sells.
Walking away from tens of millions might seem like a huge loss to many. But for Affleck, it is simply a drop in the ocean.
Reports show he recently sold his artificial intelligence company, InterPositive, to Netflix. That deal was worth around $600 million. This massive payout has clearly put him in a position where he can easily absorb the loss of the mansion.
