Bandits kill seven worshippers and abduct others during an Easter Sunday attack on churches in Kaduna State.
The peaceful Easter celebration in Kaduna State was violently interrupted on Sunday. Armed men invaded the Ariko community in Kachia Local Government Area.
The attackers targeted two Christian worship centers during the service. It was a tragic day for the residents as the gunmen opened fire on the congregation.
Confirming the incident, Dailypost revealed that at least seven worshippers were killed. Many others were reportedly kidnapped and taken into the bush.
This attack has thrown the entire community into panic. Residents are now living in fear as the bandits continue to cause havoc in the region.
Worship centers in the state have become frequent targets for criminals. The trend has raised serious concerns about the safety of citizens during religious gatherings.
The Kaduna State Police Command is aware of the situation. DSP Mansir Hassan, the Police Public Relations Officer, assured the public that details regarding the attack would be made available shortly.
