Former NBA All Star Baron Davis Sued By Sister Lissa Over House Sale

Ex-NBA star Baron Davis sued by sister Lissa Davis for fraud over alleged Northridge house sale

Former NBA star Baron Davis has been sued by his sister for fraud. The suit was filed by his sister, Lissa Davis.

She is accusing the former All-Star of selling a house he helped her buy without any warning. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the case centers on a house deal from nearly 20 years ago. Lissa claims Baron helped her purchase a home after she faced a difficult period in her life.

In her filing, she said she had a life-threatening health issue after giving birth to her son in 2008. She said she reached out to her brother for financial help at that time.

Lissa alleges that Baron then convinced her to sell her existing home in Northridge, California. His reason, according to the suit, was that he would buy her a new one through his own realtors.

She claims he told her to leave the title in his name for tax purposes. Trusting him, she agreed. She later found a different house in Northridge and moved in with her husband.

She said they put all their savings into fixing up the property.

The house became their family home for years. Things changed this January. Lissa claims she learned from a third-party realtor that the house was up for sale.

According to her, Baron was the one selling it. She alleges he never told her about the plan to sell. She said she was completely blindsided by the move.

Following the discovery, she has now taken legal action. She is suing Baron Davis for fraud, intentional infliction of emotional distress and other claims.
