TikTok creator Amadou Elizabeth Aminata aka Jarvis reacts to hair shave rumour after wedding to Peller

Popular TikTok creator, Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, widely known as Jarvis, has finally addressed rumours surrounding her new low-cut hairstyle.

The content creator shut down claims that she barbed her hair as part of traditional marriage rites for her wedding.

Jarvis made the clarification in a video broadcast shortly after her white wedding ceremony.

According to her, the decision to cut her hair had nothing to do with culture or custom. It was purely for beauty.

She explained that she wanted her bridal hair installation to sit perfectly on her big day.

The TikToker said her hairstylist advised her to barb her hair because of its stubborn texture.

She noted that her frontal hair has always been difficult to style, which often affects how her wigs sit.

"The wedding is finally over and I’m super happy. I’m proud of myself and my husband," Jarvis said.

"For those speculating that I barbed my hair for my wedding as part of some tribal marriage rites, shut up."

"I barbed my hair because I wanted my hair installation to be perfect. That is what my hair stylist recommended because I have a very stubborn hair," she added.

Obgist reports that Jarvis and her partner, fellow TikTok sensation Peller, have been in the spotlight since their relationship went public.

The couple held their traditional wedding on Friday, August 1, 2026.

They followed it up with a white wedding ceremony on Saturday, August 8, 2026, which was attended by friends, family and fellow creators.
