Diamond Brown Seeks $30,000 Support From Chris Brown, Alleges Neglect

Chris Brown’s child support case has taken a new turn after the mother of his four-year-old daughter asked a court to increase monthly payments from $7,000 to at least $30,000, alleging that the singer shows little interest in the child.

The request was made by Diamond Brown in court documents obtained by TMZ. She is the mother of Brown’s daughter, Lovely.

In the filing, Diamond Brown said she has custody of Lovely about 90 per cent of the time.

She said she understands Brown’s work often takes him out of town, but claimed he has not asked to see their daughter in the last six to seven months.

She also said Brown asked to take the child on tour with him on alternating weekends. She described the arrangement as inappropriate for a child of her age.

According to the documents, she noted that the singer would be busy with work and Lovely would be cared for by a nanny, a situation she said she did not favour.

Diamond Brown claimed she has always encouraged a relationship between Lovely and her father and has tried to nurture it, but alleged that Brown is "often uninterested."

In her application, Diamond Brown pointed to Brown’s spending habits. She cited instances where he gifted a fan and her family a brand new car and $10,000 in cash, and gave luxury handbags to the mothers of his other children, including a Hermes handbag for his second child’s mother and Prada handbags for his first child’s mother.

She said she is going deeper into debt every month because the $7,000 she currently receives does not cover her needs.

On that basis, she is asking the court to raise Chris Brown child support to at least $30,000 per month.

Previous report have it that Brown’s other baby mamas defended the singer after Diamond Brown’s claims were filed. They said Brown takes care of all his children.

The court is yet to rule on the request for increased support.
