Datti Baba-Ahmed Threatens To Expose Peter Obi With Damaging Information

Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, former Labour Party vice-presidential candidate, speaking about Peter Obi and Obidients.

Former Labour Party vice-presidential candidate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, has warned supporters of Peter Obi against attacking him, saying he has more damaging information to disclose about the former Anambra State governor and the 2023 presidential election.

Datti made the remarks during an interview with Symfoni TV, where he accused supporters of the Labour Party's 2023 presidential candidate, popularly known as Obidients, of attacking him whenever he speaks about Obi.

He maintained that his comments were based on what he described as the truth about Obi, warning that continued attacks would not stop him from making further disclosures.

"Obidients are always eager to attack me. I have more damaging things to reveal. You attack me because I told you the truth about Peter Obi," he said.

The former vice-presidential candidate also reaffirmed his membership of the Labour Party, insisting that he would not be intimidated into silence by Obi's supporters.

He argued that some of those attacking him were unaware of what transpired during the 2023 presidential election.

Datti, Obidients Disagree Over Peter Obi's Political Moves

The latest exchange comes amid growing disagreements between Datti and sections of the Obidient Movement over Obi's political direction.

Datti has recently criticised Obi's moves towards joining the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition, a position that reportedly angered some of the former presidential candidate's supporters.

Some Obidients accused the former running mate of betraying Obi and working in the interest of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar.

Datti's latest comments have further exposed the disagreement between him and supporters of the politician with whom he contested the 2023 presidential election on the Labour Party platform.
