The IGP of Police have assured the Benue community of security. In an interview with TVC the IGP describe the attack as 'one too many". 

He said a day is drawing near when the attackers will come to attack as usual, but they will not return

He mentioned that what the security agency needs from the people is information because he argued that the people know there community more than the security agent and they know the signs of the attackers.

The IGP was wearing a red baret which signifies war or action among the armed forces.
