Enugu Appoints Kingsley Eze to Lead Advisory Board for 2026 Tech Festival

The Enugu State Government has named Kingsley Eze, Managing Director and Group CEO of Tenece Group, as the Head of the Advisory Board for the Enugu Tech Festival (ETF) 2026.

In a statement announcing the appointment, the state government said the move reflects its commitment to tapping world-class expertise in steering the festival’s vision of positioning Enugu as a top destination for technology and innovation in Africa.

Eze’s appointment comes shortly after the inauguration of the Central Planning Committee for ETF 2026. The government highlighted his extensive leadership experience in Information Technology, Real Estate, Agribusiness, and Energy as key to advancing the festival’s objectives.

Commissioner for Innovation, Dr. Lawrence Ezeh, noted that the Advisory Board would be central to shaping the festival’s direction and ensuring it aligns with the state’s broader innovation and economic growth agenda. He praised Eze’s work through Genesys Tech Hub, where he has championed youth empowerment, skills development, and the creation of platforms for young Africans to excel in the tech space.

Reacting to the appointment, Eze described his new role as an honour, pledging to help make ETF 2026 a landmark event. “The festival is a powerful testament to the potential of our youth and the bold vision of Governor Peter Mbah,” he said. “Having experienced the vibrancy of the last ETF as a keynote speaker, I am determined to build on that momentum, advancing the ‘Coal to Code’ vision and cementing Enugu’s place as a beacon of technological progress in Africa.”
