Bukayo Saka has officially committed his long-term future to Arsenal, agreeing to a new five-year contract that keeps him at the Emirates until June 2031.
The agreement is part of Arsenal’s wider strategy to secure the futures of key first-team players, following recent contract extensions for William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhães, Ethan Nwaneri, and Myles Lewis-Skelly.
Saka’s previous contract was due to expire in June 2027, but the England international is now finalising an improved deal that will keep him at the Emirates Stadium until 2031.
The winger has been a central figure at his boyhood club under manager Mikel Arteta, playing more minutes than any other Arsenal player since the Spaniard took charge in 2019.
Since breaking into the senior team, Saka has made 290 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 77 goals across all competitions.
He has been instrumental in Arsenal’s recent Premier League title challenges, particularly during the 2023/24 season, when he recorded 20 goals and 14 assists as Arsenal finished just two points behind Manchester City.
Last season, Bukayo Saka registered 12 goals and 13 assists in 37 appearances, despite missing three months due to a hamstring injury that required surgery in December 2024.
So far this season, he has continued to deliver, contributing seven goals and six assists in 27 matches across all competitions.
Saka’s contract extension represents a major boost for Arsenal’s long-term project as the club looks to sustain its challenge for major honours under Arteta.
