Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has celebrated mothers across the state and beyond. This is in commemoration of the 2026 Catholic Mothering Sunday. 

He specifically extended his goodwill to Catholic mothers and women across Nigeria.

In his message, the Governor took a moment to reflect on the strength of mothers. He described them as the "quiet architects" of society. 

According to him, their role in shaping character and building the nation cannot be overstated.

Mbah noted that mothers nurture values and sustain the moral fabric of communities. He praised their resilience in the face of challenges. 

He also highlighted their unwavering commitment to family life as a major source of inspiration.

The Governor did not stop at praises. He reiterated his administration's commitment to supporting women. 

He assured that the government would continue to implement policies that empower women and protect maternal health.

He emphasized that the progress of the society is tied to the wellbeing of mothers. Mbah wished all mothers a happy celebration. He prayed for strength, good health, and peace in their homes.
