Chiamaka Nnadozie wins Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year again after a dominant season for club and country.
Our own Chiamaka Nnadozie has once again shown why she is regarded as one of the best in African football. The Super Falcons and Brighton & Hove Albion shot-stopper has been crowned the 2025 Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year, making it her third consecutive win.
The announcement came during the prestigious CAF awards ceremony held at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Rabat, Morocco.
At just 24, Nnadozie continues to dominate her category, beating Morocco’s Khadija Er-Rmichi and South Africa’s Andile Dlamini to retain the title. Her consistency and command in goal made her the obvious favourite.
Her performances in 2024 and 2025 were nothing short of exceptional. With Paris FC, she lifted the Coupe de France Féminine, before starring for the Super Falcons during their record-extending 10th WAFCON triumph, where she kept four clean sheets and was named the tournament’s best goalkeeper.
Since joining Brighton & Hove Albion in the Women’s Super League, Nnadozie has continued to shine. She earned a Player of the Match award on her debut, alongside clinching the WSL Save of the Month and the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month honours.
With yet another continental crown added to her growing list of achievements, Nnadozie has firmly established herself as Africa’s most dominant female goalkeeper of the modern era.
