Leonid Radvinsky, the billionaire owner of the subscription platform OnlyFans, has passed away at the age of 43. The company confirmed on Monday that he died peacefully following a prolonged battle with cancer.

Radvinsky was the silent force behind the platform’s massive growth. He acquired Fenix International, the parent company of OnlyFans, from its British founders, Guy and Tim Stokely, in 2018. Under his stewardship, the site transformed from a general creator platform into a giant of the adult entertainment industry.

His business model was highly lucrative. The platform takes a 20 per cent fee from creator earnings, a strategy that saw users spend a staggering $7.2 billion in 2024 alone. According to reports, Radvinsky paid himself $1.8 billion in dividends between 2021 and 2025.

A Ukrainian-American entrepreneur based in Chicago, Radvinsky was known for his low profile despite his immense wealth. Forbes estimated his net worth at $4.7 billion.

His death creates a vacuum at the top of the organisation. Reports from earlier in the year suggested he was exploring a sale of the company, valued at over $5 billion, though a buyer had not been found. His majority shares are currently held in the LR Fenix Trust, leaving stakeholders to ponder the platform's next chapter.
