Two PDP lawmakers in Yobe resign citing internal crisis, leaving their next political move unknown.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suffered a significant setback in Yobe State following the resignation of two federal lawmakers.
Engr. Muhammad Buba Kajere and Hon. Hassan Kaikaku Jakduwa, who represent Fika/Fune and Bade/Jakusko constituencies respectively, have officially parted ways with the opposition party.
In his resignation letter, Jajere pointed to the lingering internal crisis at the national level as his primary reason for leaving. He noted that stepping aside was a necessary step for his personal convictions and future political direction.
Similarly, Hon. Jakduwa explained that his decision was driven by the need to serve his constituents more effectively. After assessing the current political landscape, he believes this move is vital for the welfare and unity of his people.
Despite the high-profile exit, both legislators have kept their next destination under wraps. They are yet to disclose which political party they intend to join next.
