A disturbing video now circulating online has sparked outrage across Delta State and beyond.
In the clip, a young woman identified simply as Favour, said to be a nursing student, recounts a painful encounter with a popular Asaba-based content creator known as Odogwu Asaba.
The video surfaced shortly before reports emerged that she reportedly died by suicide.
What the viral video shows
In the recording, Favour speaks directly to the camera. She appears distressed as she narrates what she says happened to her.
She claims the incident began after she saw a post by the content creator. In the post, he reportedly offered to help people make money through social media.
According to her account, she decided to reach out because she was going through serious financial challenges.
Why she contacted the creator
Favour explained in the video that she was struggling to fund her nursing education. She said she had earlier rejected help from another man who allegedly wanted sex in exchange for financial assistance.
She stated that she contacted Odogwu Asaba because she believed his public profile made him trustworthy. She said she thought she would be safe.
What she alleged happened in Asaba
Favour alleged that she was later invited to meet the content creator in Asaba. The meeting, she claimed, was scheduled at a hotel.
She alleged that once inside the room, the situation changed. She claimed he sexually assaulted her despite her repeated pleas and objections.
She further alleged that after the incident, he told her that nothing would happen because of his influence in Delta State.

Public reaction and need for investigation
The video has triggered strong reactions on Facebook, TikTok and X. Many Nigerians are calling for a thorough investigation. Others are urging caution and due process.
As of the time of filing this report, the Delta State Police Command has not issued an official statement on the allegation or on the reported death.
In another video making the rounds, Odogwu Asaba was seen pleading with the family of the girl for settlement and was seen claiming it was a terrible mistake.
The second video on X showed Odogwu Asaba on his knees pleading with the twin of favour as was captured on the video.
