Big Brother Naija Show Ya Sef has recorded its first major shock of the season, with housemate Nomy shown the exit door.

Big Brother announced the disqualification with immediate effect during a tense house gathering on Monday.

Nomy, whose real name is Whitney Chukwu, is a 26-year-old fashion entrepreneur. Before entering the house, she said she joined the show to grow her brand and push her fashion business to a bigger audience.

She was described at the start of the season as outspoken, intuitive and stylish, with a strong love for travel and fashion. She had also admitted that her direct nature and short temper could get her into trouble.

According to Big Brother, she repeatedly flouted the rules. She left her assigned bench without permission and abandoned the official bench warmer vest, a clear breach of her punishment terms.

In a firm address to the house, Big Brother ordered Nomy to pack her belongings and leave the house immediately.
